Ramdev

Ramdev, born Ramkisan Yadav on January 25, 1965, is an Indian yoga guru and businessman. He gained widespread popularity for his yoga camps and television programs that promoted yoga and traditional Indian remedies. Ramdev founded the Patanjali Ayurved Limited company along with his close associate Balkrishna. Patanjali Ayurved manufactures and markets a wide range of products, including food items, cosmetics, and medicines, often marketed as being natural and beneficial to health.

His yoga instruction style is characterized by vigorous and rapid sequences, often referred to as "Pranayamas" and "Asanas." Ramdev's teachings emphasize the importance of yoga and Ayurveda for physical and mental well-being, aiming to make these practices accessible to the masses. He has conducted large-scale yoga camps across India, attracting millions of participants.
