Rajzokban

Rajzokban is a Hungarian locative plural form derived from the noun rajz (drawing). It literally means “in the drawings” and is used to indicate that something is depicted or described within drawings rather than in prose. The form is created by adding the locative suffix -ban to rajzok (the plural of rajz), in accordance with Hungarian vowel harmony rules.

Usage of rajzokban appears mainly in discussions of visual storytelling, illustration, and art criticism, as well as in educational contexts where information is conveyed through images. It is commonly used with verbs such as ábrázolni (to depict), mesélni (to tell), vagy megjelenni (to appear). For example:

- A történet rajzokban mesélik el. (The story is told in drawings.)

- Az illusztrációk rajzokban ábrázolják a jeleneteket. (The illustrations depict the scenes in drawings.)

- A könyv rajzokban mutatja be a főhős érzelmeit. (The book presents the main character’s emotions in drawings.)
