Radioaktivní is a Czech word that translates to "radioactive" in English. It refers to the property of some atomic nuclei to spontaneously transform into a different nucleus, releasing energy in the form of radiation. This process is known as radioactive decay. The radiation emitted can include alpha particles, beta particles, gamma rays, or neutrons, depending on the specific isotope undergoing decay.
