RTKtyypit refers to a classification system used to categorize different types of remote-controlled (RC) vehicles. This system is often employed by hobbyists, manufacturers, and retailers to differentiate between various RC models based on their design, intended use, and capabilities. The categories typically address factors such as the vehicle's chassis type, suspension system, drivetrain, and intended terrain.

Common RTKtyypit include on-road vehicles, which are designed for smooth surfaces like asphalt or concrete and often resemble real-world cars. Off-road vehicles encompass a broader range, such as buggies, trucks, and crawlers, built to handle dirt, gravel, rocks, and other uneven terrain. Another significant category is aircraft, including planes, helicopters, and drones, each with distinct flight characteristics and applications. Boats and other watercraft also form their own RTKtyypit.
