RSQrelated

RSQrelated is a term used in statistical software documentation and academic writing to describe concepts, metrics, and analyses that pertain to the R-squared statistic (RSQ) in regression models. The term is not a formal statistical measure by itself; rather, RSQrelated denotes a category of topics that influence or relate to RSQ, including model specification, predictor selection, data quality, and the treatment of nonlinearities and interactions.

In RSQrelated work, practitioners examine how different choices affect RSQ values and model interpretation. Examples include comparing models with different sets of predictors, evaluating the impact of polynomial terms, and assessing the trade-off between RSQ and adjusted RSQ, cross-validated RSQ, and other predictive performance metrics.
