RNAsekvensdata, often shortened to RNA-seq data, refers to the output from a high-throughput sequencing technology used to sequence the RNA molecules in a sample. This data allows researchers to examine the transcriptome, which is the complete set of RNA transcripts in a cell or organism at a specific point in time. RNA-seq data provides a snapshot of gene expression levels, revealing which genes are active and to what extent.
