RCMPs
RCMPs is an acronym that can refer to several different entities, with the most prominent being the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, often referred to as the Mounties, is Canada's federal police force. They are responsible for a wide range of policing duties across the country, including national security, serious and organized crime, and international policing. In addition to their federal responsibilities, the RCMP also provides provincial policing services to six provinces and three territories, as well as municipal policing in over 150 communities.
The RCMP has a distinctive red serge uniform, which is recognized internationally as a symbol of Canada.
Beyond the Canadian police force, RCMPs could potentially be an acronym for other, less common organizations
