RABGGTA

RABGGTA is a gene that encodes a protein belonging to the Ras-related in brain (Rab) GTPase family. Rab GTPases are a large subgroup of the Ras superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins involved in regulating intracellular membrane trafficking. These proteins act as molecular switches, cycling between an inactive GDP-bound form and an active GTP-bound form. This cycling is regulated by guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) and GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs).
