Rückgaberecht
Rückgaberecht, also known as the right of return, is a consumer protection law that grants customers the ability to return goods purchased under certain conditions. This right is particularly prevalent in distance selling, such as online purchases, mail order, or telephone sales, where the consumer cannot inspect the product before buying. In many jurisdictions, consumers have a statutory period, often 14 days from receiving the goods, during which they can declare their intention to return the item without needing to provide a reason.

There are exceptions to the Rückgaberecht. These often include goods that are custom-made, perishable, or have
