RøldalSuldal is a municipality located in Vestland county, Norway. It was established on January 1, 2019, through the merger of the former municipalities of Røldal and Suldal. The municipality is situated in the southern part of Vestland county, bordering Rogaland county to the south. RøldalSuldal is known for its dramatic natural landscapes, which include fjords, mountains, valleys, and glaciers. The Suldalslågen river, a renowned salmon river, flows through the municipality.

The area has a long history of human settlement, with evidence of activity dating back to the Stone Age. Historically, the economy was based on agriculture, fishing, and forestry. Today, tourism plays a significant role, attracting visitors interested in hiking, fishing, skiing, and experiencing the natural beauty. Røldal is particularly famous for its Stave Church, one of Norway's best-preserved medieval wooden churches. Suldal is known for its series of lakes connected by the Suldalslågen river.

The municipality's administrative center is located in Sand, Suldal. RøldalSuldal is connected by road, with the European route E134 highway passing through the area, providing a crucial link between eastern and western Norway.
