Qarvoja
Qarvoja is a small coastal village located on the eastern side of the Åland Archipelago, an autonomous region of Finland. The settlement lies approximately 12 kilometres southeast of Mariehamn, the Åland capital, and is accessible by a local ferry service that links it to the island of Linster. According to the latest census in 2021, Qarvoja has a resident population of 480, making it one of the smaller communities within Åland. The residents are predominantly Ålandic, speaking Swedish as the community’s first language, while Finnish is also widely used.
