Pyramidaalisoluja, also known as pyramidal cells, are a type of neuron predominantly found in the cerebral cortex of the brain. These cells are characterized by their pyramid-shaped cell bodies, which are typically about 10–20 micrometers in diameter. Pyramidaalisoluja play a crucial role in the processing of information within the brain's cortical layers, primarily involved in integrating sensory input and facilitating communication between different areas of the cerebral cortex.

The structure of pyramidaalisoluja includes a single, large dendrite called the apical dendrite that extends upward toward the cortical surface, branching extensively to form a complex dendritic arbor.
