Pyhäinmiestenpäivä

Pyhäinmiestenpäivä, also known as All Saints' Day, is a Christian observance celebrated on November 1st. It is a solemnity, a feast day of the highest rank in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church, as well as in many Lutheran, Anglican, and Methodist churches. The day is dedicated to honoring all saints, known and unknown. It serves as an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives and sacrifices of those who have been recognized as saints for their holiness and devotion.

The tradition of observing All Saints' Day has roots in the early Christian church. Initially, individual saints were honored on their specific feast days.
