Pyörivädiskomi

Pyörivädiskomi is a Finnish term that translates literally to "rotating disk" or "spinning disk". In a technical context, it commonly refers to a hard disk drive (HDD). HDDs are a type of data storage device that uses magnetic storage to store and retrieve digital information. They utilize one or more rigid, rapidly rotating platters coated with magnetic material. Data is read and written to these platters by magnetic heads that move over the surface of the disks. The "pyörivä" (rotating) aspect is crucial to their operation, as the speed of rotation, measured in revolutions per minute (RPM), directly impacts the drive's performance.
