Pumppukärryt

Pumppukärryt, known in English as pallet jacks or pump trucks, are a type of simple machine used for lifting and moving pallets. They are commonly found in warehouses, retail stores, and shipping facilities. A pumppukärry consists of a hydraulic jack, forks, and wheels. The forks are inserted under the pallet, and a handle is pumped up and down to raise the forks and the pallet off the ground. Once lifted, the pumppukärry can be manually pushed or pulled to transport the pallet to its desired location.

The hydraulic system allows for relatively heavy loads to be lifted with minimal effort. When the handle is lowered, the hydraulic pressure is released, and the forks descend, placing the pallet back on the ground.
