Pufferflächen
Pufferflächen, also known as buffer zones or green belts, are areas of land designated for ecological, aesthetic, or functional purposes that separate different land uses or activities. They serve to mitigate negative impacts, enhance environmental quality, and provide a transition between distinct environments. In urban planning, pufferflächen are often established around industrial sites, airports, or major roadways to reduce noise pollution, air contamination, and visual intrusion on residential areas.
