Protetons

Protetons are a hypothetical type of particle that have been proposed as a solution to certain problems in particle physics and cosmology. The concept of protetons was introduced to address the issue of dark matter, which is believed to make up approximately 85% of the matter in the universe but has not been directly observed. Protetons are proposed to be stable, massive particles that interact with ordinary matter only through gravity, making them difficult to detect.

The idea of protetons is based on the assumption that there exists a new type of fundamental force, in addition to the four known forces of nature (gravitational, electromagnetic, strong, and weak). This new force would be responsible for the interactions between protetons and ordinary matter, but it would be much weaker than the other forces, making protetons nearly invisible to current detection methods.

Protetons are also proposed to have a specific mass range, typically in the range of 10 to 1000 times the mass of a proton. This mass range is chosen to be consistent with the observed properties of dark matter, which is thought to have a density of approximately 0.3 GeV/cm^3.

While the concept of protetons is still purely theoretical, it has been the subject of several experimental searches. These searches have not yet found any definitive evidence for protetons, but they have placed constraints on the possible mass and interaction strength of these particles. The search for protetons continues to be an active area of research in particle physics and cosmology.
