Proteinikierrätys, also known as protein turnover, is a fundamental biological process occurring in all living cells. It refers to the continuous synthesis and degradation of proteins within an organism. Proteins are not static molecules; they have finite lifespans and are constantly being broken down and replaced with new ones.
