Promielocytów
Promielocytów refers to the plural form of "promielocyte," a stage in the development of granulocytes, a type of white blood cell (leukocyte). Promyelocytes are immature cells that originate in the bone marrow and play a critical role in the immune system by eventually differentiating into mature granulocytes, such as neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils.
During hematopoiesis—the process of blood cell formation—promyelocytes develop from myeloblasts, which are even earlier progenitor cells.
Promyelocytes are classified under the broader category of myeloid cells, which also include monocytes and erythrocytes.
Diagnosis often involves microscopic examination of bone marrow or blood samples, where the morphology of promyelocytes
