Programmeerid

Programmeerid is the Estonian present tense form of the verb to program. Specifically, it is the second person singular form of the verb programmeerima, used when addressing a single person informally. The form is built from the stem programmeer- with the present-tense ending -id, and it corresponds to the English phrase you program.

In usage, programmeerid appears in statements directed at a single person who is performing the action of programming. It is common in everyday speech and in informal writing. For example, Sa programmeerid iga päev means You program every day. The form should not be confused with noun phrases; a separate noun for a programmer is programmer or programmeerija in Estonian, which refers to a person who programs as a profession, not the verb form you use to address someone.
