Poznate

Poznate is a term found in several South Slavic languages. It is not generally used as a standalone proper noun such as the name of a place or organization, and there is no widely cited encyclopedia entry dedicated to the word itself. In usage, it appears as a grammatical form within sentences rather than as a separate concept.

As an adjective, poznate is the feminine plural nominative form of the adjective poznat, meaning well-known or familiar. It is used with feminine plural nouns, for example: poznate osobe (well-known people) and poznate činjenice (well-known facts).

As a verb form, poznate corresponds to the second-person plural present tense of the verb poznavati or poznati, meaning "you know" or "you are acquainted with." For example: Vi poznate mnoge ljude.

In general, the term is encountered primarily as a grammatical form rather than as a distinct subject. It may be confused with related forms such as poznata (feminine singular or accusative) and poznato (neuter).
