Postzygotinen

Postzygotinen refers to events that occur after the formation of a zygote, the single cell resulting from the fusion of gametes. In the context of biology and reproduction, it encompasses all developmental stages and processes that follow fertilization. This includes embryonic development, fetal development, and even post-natal growth in sexually reproducing organisms.

The postzygotinen period is characterized by rapid cell division, differentiation, and morphogenesis.
