Postobjectivists

Postobjectivists are a loose grouping of thinkers and artists who, while acknowledging the historical and cultural context of objectivity in philosophy and science, have moved beyond strict adherence to a belief in a singular, universally accessible, and independent reality. They often engage with the legacy of Objectivism, the philosophical system developed by Ayn Rand, but diverge from its core tenets.

Key aspects of postobjectivism include a recognition that human perception, language, and cultural frameworks shape our understanding of reality. While not necessarily embracing radical relativism, postobjectivists are more inclined to explore the subjective elements inherent in knowledge acquisition and the construction of meaning. They might question the possibility of a purely "objective" viewpoint, suggesting that all perspectives are, to some degree, situated.

This perspective can manifest in various intellectual and artistic endeavors. In philosophy, it might involve a critical examination of epistemology and metaphysics, considering how social, historical, and psychological factors influence what we consider to be true or real.
