Popytowy

Popytowy is an adjective in Polish that denotes a relation to demand, or a focus on the demand side. It is primarily used in economic and market contexts to describe phenomena, policies, or analyses that are driven by consumer demand, rather than by supply conditions. The corresponding English term is demand-side.

The word is formed from the noun popyt (demand) with the adjectival suffix -owy. It declines as popytowy (masculine), popytowa (feminine), and popytowe (neuter).

In economics, popytowy is used for phrases such as popytowa strona gospodarki (the demand side of the economy), popytowa polityka fiskalna or popytowa stymulacja (demand-stimulus policy), and popytowy szok (demand shock).
