Poolestulemiskäik
Poolestulemiskäik refers to the Earth's surface features formed by erosion due to an oceanic wave crashing against a rocky coast or shoreline. This process involves ongoing interaction between marine forces and the exposed rocky surfaces. Initially, the waves impart various kinds of forces, including shallow-water, swash and backswash tidal forces, leading to overall dynamic erosion as well as bioerosion by organisms. The immediate effects include differences in shapes and orientations of individual clasts, development of shallow marine beds after continuous erosion, and streamlines of mud deposits temporarily placed in back slope areas after recurring waves.
This geologic characterization originates when waves expose a stretch of coastline to ongoing diastrophic transformation. Coasts
