Ponting

Ricky Ponting, born 19 December 1974 in Launceston, Tasmania, is a former Australian cricketer who played for Australia and Tasmania domestically. A right-handed batsman and occasional medium-pace bowler, Ponting was a key figure in Australian cricket for nearly two decades. He made his international debut in 1995 and quickly established himself as a leading batsman in both Test and One Day International cricket.
