Ponthalmazok
Ponthalmazok, also known as point clouds, are a collection of data points in three-dimensional space. Each point typically represents a location on the surface of an object or within an environment. These points are usually defined by their X, Y, and Z coordinates. Ponthalmazok are generated through various data acquisition techniques, most notably 3D scanning technologies like LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) and photogrammetry. LiDAR sensors emit laser pulses and measure the time it takes for them to return after reflecting off surfaces, allowing for precise distance measurements. Photogrammetry, on the other hand, reconstructs 3D models from multiple overlapping photographs taken from different viewpoints.
The applications of ponthalmazok are diverse and span across numerous industries. In surveying and mapping, they
