Pomurska
Pomurska, commonly known as Pomurje, is one of Slovenia's twelve statistical regions, located in the northeastern part of the country. It is bordered by Austria to the north and Hungary to the east, and lies along the Mura River, with its floodplain and surrounding agricultural land shaping the landscape. The region's administrative center and largest town is Murska Sobota. The northeastern wedge of the region includes parts of the Goričko landscape, a low hill area that adds variety to an otherwise flat to gently rolling terrain.
