Polyterpenoids
Polyterpenoids are polymeric terpenoids built from repeating isoprene units. They form long, linear chains that can be cis- or trans-configured along the backbone and occur in nature as elastic rubbers or as long-chain lipids. The term covers polymers with isoprenoid backbones that extend beyond simple monomeric terpenes.
