Pistón
Pistón is a Spanish word that translates to "piston" in English. A piston is a fundamental component found in many mechanical devices, most notably internal combustion engines and pumps. It is a sliding component that moves back and forth within a cylinder. In an engine, the piston is propelled by the expanding gases from the combustion of fuel and air, transmitting this force to a crankshaft to generate rotational motion. In a pump, the piston's movement creates pressure differentials, drawing fluid in and expelling it.
