Pintahioma, also known as *Pintahio* or *Pintahiu*, is a traditional Polynesian dance form originating from the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia. The term "pintahioma" combines elements of Tahitian language, where "pinta" refers to a dance or movement, and "hioma" relates to the rhythmic and expressive nature of the performance. This dance is deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of the Tahitian people, often performed during celebrations, ceremonies, and festivals.
