Piatnitzkysaurus
Piatnitzkysaurus is a genus of neotheropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period in what is now Argentina. The type species, Piatnitzkysaurus Patagonia, was described by Jose Bonaparte in 1978. Fossil remains were discovered in the Chubut Province, part of the Patagonia region of South America. These fossils indicate that Piatnitzkysaurus was a medium-sized theropod, likely measuring around six to seven meters in length.
