Photobits

Photobits is a term that refers to the individual elements that make up a digital image. Similar to pixels in a traditional digital photograph, photobits represent the smallest discrete units of visual information. Each photobit holds a specific color and intensity value, and when aggregated together in a grid, they form the complete digital image. The arrangement and color information of these photobits determine the overall appearance, detail, and resolution of the image.
