Peyos, also known as sidelocks or peyot, are long, untrimmed locks of hair worn by religious Jewish men and boys. This practice is derived from a commandment found in the Torah, specifically Leviticus 19:27, which states, "You shall not round the corners of your heads, nor shall you damage the corners of your beard."
