PewDiePie is the online alias of Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, a Swedish internet personality and entrepreneur born October 24, 1989, in Gothenburg. He rose to prominence on YouTube starting in 2010 with Let's Play videos, notably of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and other horror games, which established his energetic commentary and humorous editing as a hallmark of his early channel.

Over the years his content broadened to include vlogs, meme reviews, reaction videos, and formatted series, while maintaining a focus on video game commentary. His channel amassed one of the largest subscriber bases on YouTube, and he became widely regarded as one of the platform’s most prominent creators. In August 2019, he became the first individual YouTuber to reach 100 million subscribers, a milestone that underscored his global reach.

PewDiePie has also engaged in merchandising, collaborations, and charitable livestreams, donating to various causes and supporting online communities. He has faced criticism for content some viewers found offensive; in 2017 allegations of anti-Semitic jokes led to advertiser concerns and the severing of partnerships with his network, followed by public apologies from Kjellberg. He has since continued creating content and maintained a large audience.

He is married to Marzia Kjellberg (née Bisognin), an Italian former YouTuber and designer; the couple has collaborated on projects and charity efforts and has lived in several countries during their careers.
