Peshimin
Peshimin, also known as the Peshmerga, are a Kurdish paramilitary force based in northern Iraq. They were formed in 1991 by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to defend the Kurdish population against the Iraqi government and other armed groups. The Peshmerga have played a significant role in the Kurdish independence movement, participating in various conflicts and operations.
