Perkasa

Perkasa, full name Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia, is a Malaysian Malay nationalist non-governmental organization founded in 2008 by Ibrahim Ali. It advocates for the protection of Malay rights and the special position of bumiputera under Article 153 of the Malaysian Constitution, as well as Islam as the official religion and Malay as the national language. The group describes itself as defending the interests of the Malay community and Muslim Malaysians in response to demographic and political changes.

As a grassroots NGO, Perkasa engages in public statements, campaigns, and rallies to influence public policy

Perkasa has interacted with various Malay political actors and has been part of broader struggles over bumiputera
