Perinthalmanna

Perinthalmanna is a municipality and a commercial town in the Malappuram district of Kerala, India. Located in the northeastern part of the district, it is a significant educational and healthcare hub for the region. The town is situated on the banks of the River Kechery. Historically, Perinthalmanna was a part of the Valluvanad kingdom. It later came under the control of the Zamorins of Kozhikode and subsequently the British.
