Percebidos

Percebidos is a Portuguese term that primarily functions as the masculine plural form of the adjective percebido, and as the past participle of perceber in compound verb tenses. It describes things that have been sensed or understood, and agrees in gender and number with the noun it modifies. The feminine plural form is percebidas, and the corresponding singular forms are percebido (masculine) and percebida (feminine).

As a past participle, percebido appears in verbal constructions such as foi percebido (was perceived) or tem sido percebido (has been perceived). When used as an adjective, it can modify nouns like dados, sinais, informações, or impactos, as in dados percebidos pelo sensor (data perceived by the sensor) or sinais percebidos pelo participante (signals perceived by the participant). In specialized writing, os perceptíveis or os percebidos can also function as nominal phrases meaning “the perceived things” or “the perceived information,” though this nominal use is more common in technical or philosophical contexts.
