Pentelis
Pentelis is a mountain range located in the eastern part of the Attica region in Greece. It is part of the Pindus mountain range and stretches from the city of Athens to the town of Elefsina. The highest peak of Pentelis is called Penteli, which stands at 1,413 meters above sea level. The mountain range is known for its diverse flora and fauna, including several endemic species. Pentelis is also a popular destination for hiking and outdoor activities, with numerous trails and viewpoints offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. The mountain range is also home to several ancient sites, including the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, which is one of the most famous landmarks in Greece.
