Parlerai

Parlerai is a French verb form. It is the first-person singular of the futur simple tense of the verb parler, which means to speak. The form is created by taking the infinitive parler and adding the ending -ai, giving je parlerai, meaning “I will speak.” The corresponding forms for other persons are parleras, parlera, parlerons, parlerez, and parleront.

Usage of parlerai centers on describing a future action in formal, written, or narrative contexts. It expresses a definite intention or planned action in the future. In everyday spoken French, many speakers prefer the futur proche, as in je vais parler, to convey a near or imminent future. Parlerai, however, appears with an explicit subject and is not used alone outside of a clause.
