Pantelia
Pantelia is an ancient military title in the Byzantine Empire, also known as the East Roman Empire. It referred to a high-ranking military rank, roughly equivalent to a field marshal or generalissimo. The term is Greek in origin, derived from the words "pantelēs" (παντελής), meaning "sovereign" or "chief" and "stratēgos" (στρατηγός), meaning "general".
