Panduranga
Panduranga is a Hindu deity, primarily worshipped in the state of Karnataka, India. He is considered the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and is often depicted as a young boy with a trident in his hand. Panduranga is revered for his role in the Ramayana, where he is said to have helped Lord Rama in his battle against Ravana. According to legend, Panduranga appeared before Ravana and challenged him to a battle, which Ravana accepted. However, Ravana was unable to defeat Panduranga, and the latter emerged victorious. This event is believed to have given Lord Rama the courage to face Ravana in his final battle. Panduranga is also known as the "destroyer of Ravana" and is worshipped as a form of Lord Shiva. His temples are found in various parts of Karnataka, and he is celebrated during the festival of Shivaratri.
