Palvelutavasta, also known as PSD2, is a Europe-wide regulation mandating the sharing of payment account information and of providing payment initiation services. It is a part of the second Payment Services Directive, a European Union regulation designed to create a more integrated and digitalized financial services market across the continent.

As of January 13, 2020, PSD2 came into effect, forcing banks to open up their services and making third-party actors like fintechs able to access account holder data on a decreasing scale of permissions.
