Palampet
Palampet is a village located in the Bhupalpally district of Telangana, India. It is renowned for the Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a prime example of Kakatiya architecture. Construction of the temple is believed to have been completed around 1213 AD by the Kakatiya ruler Ganapathi Deva, with the principal architect being Ramappa, after whom the temple is named.
