Painovoimakenttä
Painovoimakenttä, often translated as gravitational field, is a concept in physics that describes the influence of mass on the surrounding spacetime. It is the region in space where a gravitational force can be detected. Every object with mass creates a gravitational field around itself. The strength of this field is proportional to the mass of the object and decreases with the square of the distance from the object's center. This field is what causes other objects with mass to be attracted to it.
The concept of a gravitational field was developed to explain how objects exert forces on each other
The gravitational field is a vector field, meaning it has both magnitude and direction at every point
