Paineväliventtiilit, also known as pressure relief valves or safety relief valves, are mechanical devices designed to control or limit pressure in a system. They are crucial safety components in a wide range of applications, from industrial pipelines and boilers to household appliances and automotive systems. The primary function of a paineväliventtiili is to automatically open when the pressure in a system exceeds a predetermined safe level. This opening allows excess fluid, such as gas or liquid, to be discharged, thereby preventing over-pressurization.
