Padrón
Padrón is a municipality located in the province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It is situated in the northwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula. The municipality encompasses a number of parishes, including the town of Padrón itself, which serves as its administrative center. Padrón is historically significant, particularly for its connection to Saint James the Greater. Tradition holds that the body of Saint James was brought by boat to the mouth of the river Ulla, near Padrón, after his martyrdom in Jerusalem. This event is a cornerstone of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
