Companies typically outsource to gain access to expertise they may not possess internally, to reduce labor costs especially when operating in regions with lower wages, or to free up internal resources to concentrate on strategic initiatives. While outsourcing can offer significant advantages, potential drawbacks include loss of control over certain operations, security risks, communication challenges, and potential negative impacts on employee morale.
