Oszmán
Oszmán is a given name and surname of Turkic origin, meaning "bone" or "powerful." It is most famously associated with Oszmán I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. He was a bey of the Oghuz Turks who ruled from around 1299 to 1326. Under his leadership, the Beylik of Söğüt began to expand its territory, laying the groundwork for one of history's most influential empires.
The name Oszmán has remained popular in Turkey and among other Turkic-speaking populations. It is often given
